TCNPPFe is 5,10,15,20-tetra (4-cyanophenyl) porphyrin iron (III) chloride, belonging to the functionalized metalloporphyrin class of compounds. As a high-performance biomimetic catalyst, it simulates the catalytic cycle of cytochrome P450 enzymes and efficiently catalyzes the hydroxylation of alkane C-H bonds and epoxidation of olefins under mild conditions, without the need for additional expensive co reducing agents. It can be used as a functional ligand to construct conductive MOF materials, exhibiting excellent selectivity and catalytic activity in electrocatalytic CO ₂ reduction and oxygen reduction reactions.
